The wonderfully cooling scent of peppermint is something we are all familiar with and the great thing about salves is that they contain and hold on to all the healing qualities in the essential oils and unlock them when you massage into your skin. Both peppermint and lavender are excellent for muscular pain and soothing to hot, tired feet. The result is an excellent foot rub. Made to order. What is the difference between a salve and a butter? Both have nourishing moisturising properties but a salve is much harder and ours is made with beeswax and provides an effective long lasting moisturising barrier. Butters are lighter and quickly absorbed, equally moisturising with the benefits of skin nourishing vitamins too!
